Back to the beginning

One of Terence's cofellows had a baby at LLUMC, so we paid a visit to them and the place where Boo was born almost a year ago. The baby was almost exactly the same size as Boo when he was born, and I was amazed at how much he's grown in a year. Boo was in his jammies, since it was way past his bedtime.


"Wait a minute... this is where they took off my foreskin!!!!"


Here we are with the 7 lb. 7 oz baby girl Lydia and Dave.


We also visited Bea, my brother's significant other, who was staying at my mom's house. She's a good cook.

And then we went to visit my dad and his dog, Bebe. Here are pics. Boo isn't wearing pants because he got food all over them and the floor. I hope my dad left a big tip.

First Haircut

We've had a busy weekend-- first we went trick-or-treating, then we went to Jason's first birthday party and the aquarium, then our friend Lai-Lai visited, and then we finally gave Boo his first haircut. Poor Boo, he was cranky most of the weekend because he was still getting over his horrible cold.

The next day, we headed out to Port-O-Call in San Pedro to celebrate Jason's first birthday. It was like a mini-wedding. There were 130 people there! Here's a pic with us, Rami, Jared, Melissa, and the birthday boy, followed by more party pics.




Afterwards, we dropped by the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific since we were in the area. Even though Boo was very cranky, he loved watching all the fish in the exhibits. This is how he looked for most of that day-- not so happy.

Boo has recently started to follow some simple instructions like "Give that to Mommy," "Kiss, kiss," and one of his favorites, "Put your hand on your head!" Here he is doing that trick.

The next day, our friend Lai-Lai visited us from Irvine. Zoe liked all the attention, but Boo was still a little cranky.

Finally, we gave Boo his first haircut. He was actually not so happy, but hammed it up for the camera. Terence feels bad that he cut Boo's hair so short. Here's the before, during, and after.
