My Little Bossy Helper

Today at preschool, I witnessed Gavin helping a 3 year old boy named Jesse working the toy cash register. He had been watching Jesse put coins into the wrong slots and failing to actually make the cash register work. Gavin then went over to the little boy, said "No! No! Like this," took Jesse's hand in his own, and used Jesse's own pointer finger to press the buttons and move the coins to the correct slots. Jesse looked around in bewilderment, while my little bossy helper moved him around like a puppet. Ay! On a side note, Gavin apparently thinks everyone is left handed.

Chinese New Year

We had some family visit on Chinese New Years. Then we went out and got Chinese food-- we didn't have a full banquet with lobster or steamed fish, but then again, dinner didn't take 3 hours, either!
