Celebrations abound!
This month we went to a lot of parties.
First, we celebrated Great Grandma's 90th birthday at P.F. Chang's (no self-respecting Chinese person goes here, by the way. Don't ask.) Gavin was a doll, and lavished attention on Great Grandma, like the little charmer he is. He seems to light up the room with his silly/sweet antics. Kisses galore? Check. Plentiful hugs? Check. Flirty smiles? Check. An occasional sneak lick attack and boogie wipe? Check, check, check! Anyway, here are pics of the party.
Then we went to his Aussie / Tasmanian friend Leo's 2nd bday party! They had a yummy gluten free carrot cake, and all these Aussie foods, like Vegemite on toast and this candy called Cherry Ripe, which is dried cherries and coconut covered with chocolate. Yum. Here is a pic of the birthday boy.

After that, we visited his Uncle Ed and Aunt Kim, who had a giant party to celebrate her return to work after the birth of cousin Nicholas. He loved playing with his 2nd cousins Lauren and Emma.

They also had an egg hunt, thanks to Aunt Alice. Once he noticed that each egg had a chocolate in it, he began searching in earnest. Chocolate is usually a treat reserved for liquid potty moments (he has #2s down pat!).

Our last party was his friend Shiharu's 2nd bday party. Sadly, we didn't take any pictures of it, boo hoo.
After all that partying, a little boy is bound to be sweaty and in need of a bath!

And finally, below are pics taken by Boo this month. He really prefers to take pictures of everyone's feet (my feet, his own feet, the dog's feet, etc etc), but no one wants to see pics of those!

LA Trip
Boo and I went to LA to visit his grandparents. We were there for a week, and did lots of things. Here are some pics. In other news, Boo can read! I think he memorizes specific words, but he can sound out 2-3 letter words pretty consistently. So, if you wrote something like "The pig is hot" or "The baby boy can read books" he would be able to read it for you. Wild!

My Little Bossy Helper
Today at preschool, I witnessed Gavin helping a 3 year old boy named Jesse working the toy cash register. He had been watching Jesse put coins into the wrong slots and failing to actually make the cash register work. Gavin then went over to the little boy, said "No! No! Like this," took Jesse's hand in his own, and used Jesse's own pointer finger to press the buttons and move the coins to the correct slots. Jesse looked around in bewilderment, while my little bossy helper moved him around like a puppet. Ay! On a side note, Gavin apparently thinks everyone is left handed.

Singing
Terence gave me a camera with an easy to use video function (and one that was compatible with blogger) so I can finally upload videos to the blog again, yay!
Here are a couple of videos of Boo singing. Enjoy!
