Since I forgot to post 7 month pics, here are a ton of 8 month pics. Auggie grew two teeth, can crawl, and, when desperate, says "ma ma!, uuuuuh (up), and daaa daaa." Otherwise he's pretty quiet except for his shrieks of laughter, that is.

Auggie's 6 month pics
Here are Auggie's 6th month pics. He can sit now! And he says things that sound like "uh-oh," and "hell-lllo!" He also finally learned how to roll over both ways, but still isn't great at it yet. He eats about 5-6 oz of various baby foods every day, and seems to prefer grains and veggies to fruits.
Oh, and he cut his first tooth yesterday!
Happy 4th of July!

Auggie's 5 month pics
Auggie is 5 months, but still can't roll over yet, or sit up by himself. He is pretty cute, though. We started him on solids a month ago, and so far he likes rice and oatmeal cereals, but does not like fruit. He hates napping, unless he's laying flat on a bed, and particularly dislikes his carseat.
In other words, it's summer, and Gavin has been so much better behaved now that he's not in preschool. He's much better at writing letters and spelling three letter words, and has a very broad palate. Here he is being silly, as usual.
Here are Auggie's 5 months pics that we took in our backyard. So much better than the local picture studio!

Auggie's 4 month pics/ Mom's day
I maybe have 10 good pics of Auggie, which is pretty sad, really, considering that when Gavin was 4 months, he had 100s! Oh well. Hopefully the cuteness of these pics make up for that!
First, we'll start with a pic of Gavin at preschool
And another with his friend James at his other preschool...
Here are Auggie's 4 month pictures. He's perfectly 50% in weight and height, which translates to about 15.8 lbs. When Boo was a baby, I used to bring him to a cheap studio to take monthly pics of him. I've decided to take pics of Auggie at home, because the studio pics here turned out terribly (that, and the nearest one is far away). Enjoy!
Here's what I got for Mother's Day... along with a purple filo and shrinky dink necklace from Boo... and a giant armful of laundry!

Stanford Dish
We nearly killed ourselves hiking the 3.5 mile loop around the Stanford Dish last weekend. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the trail, there's a lot of steep uphill walking. We are so out of shape it's embarrassing. I think even the 90 year old woman passed us! The views were worth it-- sort of.
