Tyriks 1st Birthday Celebration

This Saturday, we went to Tyrik's first Bday party at StarRanch, complete with a cookout, pony rides, face painting, and cowboy games. Fun! Here are some pics of the party...

Best Buddies

Peanut is particularly enamored of this bear. As you may have guessed, we have dubbed him "Creepy Bear". I have no idea why he likes him so much. What's amusing is that Peanut tries to talk to the bear. Or at least he babbles and coos at him. It's hilarious.

In other news, Peanut likes to watch TV. I think that's probably bad, but he was very sad to see Marquette lose. Either that, or he was so overcome with emotion that he started crying. Or I guess it could have been his wet diaper. Hm.

Finally, a napping baby!

The baby has finally settled into a morning nap routine of 20-30 minutes, giving me ample opportunity to post pics! Here was one I thought was super cute that I took this morning...

March Madness!

Here's baby, supporting his favorite team, the Stanford Cardinal, which can't be expected to go very far without good guard play. He hopes they beat UCLA today, but that's tough when it's 8 on 5. (As dictated by Potato Seed). Thanks, Uncle Davis, for the groovy outfit!

Another month, more pics!

Here are some pics and videos of Gavin taken over the past month (more than 2 months old, but not quite 3 months). He's sleeping in my Moby wrap right now, and I have a feeling he's going to wake up crying anytime now, so we'll see how many actually get uploaded! This last month, along with the requisite visits with grandparents, we hung out with Lynne and Lance, and we had a mommy's lunch with Melissa and Jason. Fun!

Our Chinese New Year Trek

So, for Chinese New Years, we foolishly decided to make the trek up north to the Bay Area to visit some extended family. Needless to say, we spent a LOT of time in the car. Zoe got to sit up front, as you can see here...
